Department of Prosthodontics

Department Introduction

The Department of Prosthodontics was designated as one of the first seven National Key Clinical Specialties in Prosthodontics in 2011, and it remains the only specialty in South China. In 2019, the department was among the first to receive clinical funding "Peak Project" from Guangdong Province. It is also the largest and most advanced prosthodontic center in South China. The department serves as the chair unit of the Maxillofacial Prosthodontics Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association (CSA), and as the vice-chair unit of both the Prosthodontics Committee and the Esthetic Dentistry Committee of the CSA.

Currently operating across two campuses, the department has 25 clinical consultation rooms and 70 dental chairs. Our team comprises 53 doctors—51 of whom hold doctoral degrees—and 41 nurses.
