本人综合运用Ribosome profiling、Droplet digital PCR和分子生物学、发育和细胞生物学、生物化学等一系列技术手段,围绕着人类口腔重要疾病的基础医学机制开展了一系列开拓性研究,分别在口腔颅颌面遗传性疾病和发育畸形的分子机制和治疗靶点、核糖体DNA拷贝数变异决定口腔癌症化疗敏感性、哺乳动物雷帕霉素靶蛋白mTOR信号通路在肿瘤治疗中的作用机制等方面取得了显著的成果。相关工作发表在Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A、Cell Reports、PLoS Genetics、Human Molecular Genetics、Carcinogenesis、Free Radical Biology and Medicine、Laboratory Investigation等重要期刊上。根据科学引文索引(SCI-EXPANDED)数据库的最新文献检索报告,至今共发表SCI研究论文31篇(IF≥6分的论文7篇),论文影响因子总和为135.33分,累计他引次数589次;其中申报人以第一(含并列)作者发表研究论文13篇(IF≥5分的论文5篇),累计影响因子52.093分,累计他引次数313次,单篇第一作者论文他引次数最高90次,H指数为17。由于本人在口腔疾病研究中获得的突出成果,至今在国际学术研讨会上受邀进行会议报告4次。同时,申报人以独立PI身份主持美国Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation科研基金1项,以项目组第二完成人身份承担美国Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation和March of dimes (MOD) Foundation科研基金2项。

[研究方向]
1.颅颌面部组织发育畸形与缺损的修复和重建研究,主要围绕口腔颅颌面部发育缺陷的遗传基础,以及颅颌面软组织修复和再生的细胞和分子机制展开研究。
2.肿瘤发生发展的蛋白翻译调控机理研究,重点围绕癌症早期诊断、肿瘤分化的分子分型、新型生物标志物的发现,以及重要信号蛋白和小分子代谢产物新功能的阐述和新药靶分子的功能性验证。
